I love customization and personalization. Something about tailoring things to my liking is exciting, unique at most.

This is a quaint little site I found. For those of you who laaahve clothes, jewelry, and are addicted to window shopping, it’s an instant hit.  Well it was for me at least.

Make a few selections to express your style, likes and dislikes, and you have your own personal clothing shopping suggestions. Look at others’ “boutiques” for inspiration or maybe find some things you love as well!

Alis Volat Propriis

As I sit here and wonder what would make a good first post, I realize I am the omni-overthinker. Just post what you feel silly!

So my first thought, my URL, Alis Volat Propriis. She Flies With Her Own Wings.

Why that? I thought it was good overall- broad, meaningful. It represents everything to me as a whole. For goodness sakes, I have it tattooed on my body. I hope it’s important.

There’s definitely some other people in this world that have it as well.  I’m guessing a mere 20,000. Out of those 20,000, 3 of them are the most important.

Left to Right: Eliza, Kirstie, myself, Alexa

These are my soul sisters. 

Alis Volat Propriis applies to us all in some way individually.

For me, it’s complicated.  You could say it embodies:

1/3 my achiever and dreamer mindset

1/3 being the product of an Enneagram Type 8 mother (research and you will become obsessed)

1/3 the daily struggle of bringing them both together in harmony

—

Collectively, Alis Volat Propriis brings us all back together.
